 Paul Revere And The Raiders
      Coach Body Destroyed
   With Paul Revere and The
Raiders, they needed their 
own publicity car, that would
large enough to carry their
instruments and they could
play on top.
   This had Barris Kustoms to
come out with a wild vehicle
to flip the bill. The idea was a
18th century Coach with a
twist. To start this wow factor,
a 1968 Pontiac GTO Candy
Apple front clip.The top had
two mini latern lights that had
been installed.Two wild cool
Pontiac GTO 428 C.I.D.that
were painted red.It had for
the induction injectors and
tubes.The whole front pivots,
with two sizes of tires, and
Craigar SS Five Spoke Mags.
The Coach is yellow and also
black,and much black leather
for holding the musical type
instruments in place when not
in the stage coach.The rear
tires are semi truck tires with
the same mags as the front
sets. The Raiders Coach has a
tiller to turn this car. The Band
members did drive this and sit
on top. I have more of the pics
in black and white.I will make
a new article about these pics.

The man that destroyed the

He is Osborg the designer of
the Pink Panther Mobile who
now lives in Oceanside CA.
He destroyed the laminated
coach body to turn into his
lame casino car. It only has for
wheels instead of six.   
    Mark Linsey was the lead
singer of Paul Revere and the
Raiders,not Paul.True fact Paul
was going to call the the group
The Dead Beats, talk about lack
of creative thinking for the group.
After one agent asked what Paul's
name was,he came up the idea of
Paul Revere and the Raiders.
   More facts Paul Revere and the
Raiders recorded Stepping Stone
on a album,but had never made a
single,so the man Golden Ear Don
Kirschner knew this would be a top
ten hit for The Monkees,so he made
a single for them in 1966. 
    My favorite song, was actually all
done by Mark Lensey after he had
left the group. Even though Mark 
wasn't with the group,there were no
ill feelings,the manager of the group
needed a hit song.Mark Lensey had
finished this song,and his fomer real
manager asked if it was OK to put
under Paul Revere and the Raiders,
Mark Lensey said yes and the song
went number one.It was Indian Nation.
     I just added a rare Raiders Coach 
with Paul Revere And The Raiders on
it.You Can guys on top,along with the
gold drum inside the Raiders Coach.
    All Raiders Coach pictures have
been retouched up.Car shows,were
dark,because back then,they had
minimum lighting,so the colors were
different in the dark,compared to the
light.
     I plant to make a custom car body
six mag wheel and tires and use 
Raiders Coach model to do it. It will 
have flared fenders radius wheel wells
going over all mags with replaced front
mpc tires instead of Lindsey Matchbox
model tires uses in the 1978 amt Vicky
kit. 
     I plan on using the body to make a 
Stage Freight model from my memory 
with Craigar mags.

      Look for a Raider's Coach
to be turned into Josie and the
Pussy Cats in a full pink. The 
coach will had red interior 
with pink for the seats. 
The steering wheel on top will
be relocated to the inside.
      I feel, if you have two wild
massive 428 Pontiac engines;
you should change into a car
for group that exists in what
use to be Archie Comics.
      Please, don't get me started
on them ruining the Archie's 
characters. I'm going for the 
Hanna-Barbera look.
